"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Stars<br/>This story was so heartwarming and beautiful. I absolutely love Hollis Woods as a character and am so glad she got the happy ending she deserved. I think this book does a great job of showing, especially younger audiences, how difficult the foster system can be. I wish I had read this when I was younger because I think I would have even more love for it and I know it’s a story my younger self would have truly enjoyed and held close."

"I just can relate to Josie. I often just want to run away, be alone. And I also know I need connection. The description of where the cabin sits sounds like a place where I would be happy!"

"This is the first book I really got attached to. I read it 5 times in fourth grade and the first night i stayed up until 1 am on a school night to read it. I haven’t read it in awhile but it still has such a soft spot in my heart."
