"Really good! It took me a while to finish this book(only because life got in the way once again😒). Anyways, I loved the premise of this one, I saw the plot twist coming so it wasn't a surprise but still good. I actually liked the dual pov, it was written very well. I thought the way it ended, it could have been just a standalone but I know the 2nd one is coming out. Loved the chemistry between the 2 main characters 😍. Great read! I can't wait for part 2!! "
"This pulled me out of a reading slump by the collar! I really enjoyed the dual POV and felt like the book was well paced and just brutal enough that I genuinely was worried and surprised throughout the book. I'm excited to start the next book, but I really don't know where it's going to go. This also makes a great standalone!"
"Just a very good book with a plot ripped from the headlines too!"

"In a country threatened by deadly fever, there is oy one cure- moonflower. As those with means have a surplus of the flower, poorer people are left without. Tessa and her partner Wes steal the excess from the rich and give to the poor. Told in first person alternating between Tessa and the King's Justice, Prince Corrick. Great world building and character development. I look forward to the next book in the series. #first_book_in_series #firstpersonPOV #alternating _perspectives "
"This book was an interesting read. I absolutely loved getting the POV of both sides of the conflict. There is a mysterious illness sweeping the land and not enough elixir to help everyone in the kingdom, so some Robin Hood-like characters steal from the rich to give to the poor. It is packed with politics, action, a blooming love story and never knowing who you can trust. I am excited to continue the series. "
"I think the book is a tad over hyped, there are better YA novels with a similar storyline. However I read for fun and that’s what I had with this, but probably will pass on book 2 and 3. Loved Cory and even his brother but Tessa fell flat for me. I feel this book wrapped up enough for me to fell complete and not HAVE to rush to the next book. "
