"Very graphic for a kids novel, but hey I liked it just fine! Tropey and predictable but in the best way. This world is so creative and fun! So easy to get lost in!!!"

"2.5/5

EDIT - June 23, 2023: idk how I feel about it now. I’m kind of sick of kids media right now

June 5, 2023: Fabulously fun and lighthearted tale while also having an important darkness and weight and allowing main characters to die. I enjoyed it throughly but it took me so long to read it that I’m struggling to remember details lmao. I’m a slow reader."

"I knew this was about a mouse war, but I honestly did not expect the entire novel to be about war, which just is not my thing."

"Good book series, although I do think the animal companion trope has been done to death."
