(Payot)

"Before reading the book I had barely knew anything about this franchise. I had heard it before but never care to read it till last year, and really enjoyed it so much, and enjoyed the characters, and the whole thing about the concept of the hunger games."

"Read it in the 4th grade, still one of my favorite trilogies. The first book is so good, and I highly recommend reading the rest of the trilogy."

"I sometimes feel as though the hunger games trilogy is woefully misunderstood. While I understand that it’s young adult fiction most people think it stops and starts at just that- the hunger games. However, it is my opinion that the hunger games was merely the inciting incident and the more important aspect of the story is the ensuing war and political struggle that occurs afterwards. Much deeper and darker of a story than you’d probably suspect to read, even as an adult. "
