Half Spent Was the Night - Likewise Book Reviews
"I was so excited to find that there was a sequel to Witches of NY. When I first picked up the book I was unsure what I was actually holding. It’s small. So a Novella? Okayyy. So not really a sequel. I just feel disappointed. The first book had so much depth that could have been used to create a new book but instead I’m left with a short story that I finished in less than a day. Why not use Perdue as a main character and create a whole new point of view? So much lost and nothing gained."
"Book 37 of The 52 Book Club Challenge of 2024

This was a very short book that I read for the prompt “Set during a holiday you don’t celebrate.” This one was set during Yule and it centered around some witches. To be honest, I didn’t like this book. I had trouble keeping the characters straight & really didn’t understand why I should care for any of them."
