"Firstly, I would never say this book is a romance. I think it’s definitely more in the category of women’s fiction even though I hate that category, the book shows a lot of growth for many of the characters. It just so happens the main character goes through a journey of understanding her Past current and future romances while also being a wedding photographer. I think there is a lot of character development which is great but at sometimes it feels like a detriment, because it just takes so long to get to some of the main points. I felt like it was a little too long and had too many useless details in it that didn’t add to the story . Overall, I think the store itself was excellent and it was a really a woman discovering who she is and overcoming past traumas. It ends hopeful, but it really is a journey to get there. 3.75⭐️, 1🌶"

"I wouldn’t necessarily call this a romance but it was a pretty good book! it’s all about growth and maturity, learning about who you are, how to stand up for yourself, that kind of idea. the romance is very much a slow burn but not a huge theme in this book so don’t go into it thinking it’s a romance. overall I’d give this a 3.5/5 ⭐️, but I am definitely going to read some of this author’s other books in hopes I’ll like it a bit better than this one! "Easy read. A few too many characters. My favorite character arc was Cal’s! Wish there would have been a little more romance, very serious undertones of emotional abuse. Overall enjoyed the British heavy lingo and quippy dialogue. "

"<strong>Mad About this Book <3</strong><br/><br/>The writing is fantastic as per usual Mhairi. I love this story so much, and it may have surpassed Don't You Forget About Me as my favorite of MM's. Lorna is one of my favorite characters of all time. Everyone needs a Lorna in their life.<br/><br/>2023 Update: Okay...I do love this book. But it does not surpass "Don't You Forget About Me," as my favorite book. (After rereading this one, and reading DYFAM for the third time)"
