In Danger's Path

Two urgent missions face Brigadier General Fleming Pickering in the Gobi Desert: rescue a band of former American servicemen and their families from the Japanese and set up a weather station to help direct aerial attacks against Japan. One of his Marines is a "scapegrace" pilot, who, together with his son, venture incognita. With luck, they may even survive.
