"People may claim this is overrated BUT it’s popular for a reason. The first book is a 10 until you read book two, then it’s trash. #fucktamlin haha - Then book 3&4 are important and enjoyable (4 is very short, more like a companion book) and the last book is growth for a character you didn’t know you’d love. It’s spicy af and a 9/10 imo. Highly recommend! "

"Never has a book series absorbed me as much as this one has. However, ironically so; it's taken me the longest ever of any to read thru. Just is so much to take in w/every impeccably written page. The character connections & the reveals are mind-blowing: I found myself rereading a lot of parts (that I felt I needed more effect of,) before I'd allow myself to advance. The descriptions of the geographical locations & the landscapes really put the reader in this epic fantasy world. "

"I love love love this series. I do have to say book 5 has been my least favorite. I love me some raunchy romance but I feel like she leaned in on that a little too much in that book which made it a little too corny for my taste."
