Just finished She's too Pretty to Burn. Did anyone feel like the characters could have been more developed? Cus I liked Mick as a character (Veronica not as much cus she occasionally threw consent out the window) but I felt like I didn't understand why they were doing what they did. Nico out of all them needed the most development to make sense of him. I know it's supposed to be surprising but still.#thriller #sapphic

Lana i feel like a lot of it that you’re noticing might be unreliable narrator. neither of the girls is very aware of all of the pieces in play and are both caught up in their own things(i completely agree about veronica and their relationship being toxic definitely adds to the story)

kzy yeah the characters didn’t really develop much, i guess micks insta was the authors way of trying to develop them but i do realize that probably isn’t the authors strongest area, but the plot was super fun and i didn’t hate the characters either. the double pov then, ofc, nicos povs near the end made it extremely predictable and i think it would’ve been better just by veronica’s or micks povs

Aya S. Yeah I agree. I did like the story overall but some things just didn't add up for me.
