MeredithS @Meredith Excellent name 💯 and perfect spelling 🤩 yes I watched! Kate is such a good actor. The speech impediment she puts on feels a little forced and almost like some scenes she forgot to do it slightly. Otherwise, it is peaking my interest and I’m curious what’s going to happen!

Kevin Simons There’s so much in it that reminds me of the divisiveness, casual cruelty, and generally despicable behavior in the politics in America currently. It definitely feels inspired by the former guy and what happened in Hungary. I’m trying to laugh at the dark comedy but finding it difficult. At least Kate is endlessly watchable (that accent, omg 😆). I’m interested in where it’s headed since it’s a limited series, I would have probably tuned out already if it was open ended.

Helene Albert It gets better. And honestly Kate Winslet is a satirical delight as the self obsessed and oblivious chancellor. Don’t hold your breath for universe building though - I’m up to date and still no explanation of what this country is or why British people seemed to colonize it (cause the natives are Slavic).

Helene Albert Same - I’m mostly curious to see where this goes and what parallels they can still draw with real life. I always loved Kate Winslet and this is a fun for her lol she’s unhinged. Omg her singing performances hahaha too good.
