Topic: The Tainted Cup

This was a favorite read in the last several years. The premise is: 1. There are huge sea monsters that will destroy the country if they make it over the sea walls. 2. An engineer meets a ghastly death via à plant thrusting thru his body. 3. There is a Lannister like family that will do anything to grow their influence. 4. The investigative team consist of à young man who is the eyes and ears with an eidatic memory and a cantankerous brillant blindfolded old lady. What did you guys think if yo

Julz I did not really like this much at all. I gave it three stars. I thought it was boring and didn’t like the bit of romance in it. I’m glad you liked it though.

Sarah Ortinau It’s on my TBR. I really enjoy RJB’s stories and fantasy, and he always makes interesting characters, worlds, and magic system. My favorite of his is Foundryside. I’ll have jump into this one soon since I keep putting it off
