Topic: Shrek 5
The next Shrek movie has finally had its cast announced. The original movie's main heroic cast returns, along with Zendaya as Shrek and Fiona's daughter. Antonio Banderas is notably absent from the cast list, for now, though he's not confirmed to be absent from the film. Jojo Now we're talking! And I agree with Roadmaster it did seem like Zendaya was playing Shrek. Which was honestly pretty awesome and silly if that were to happen. Maybe in some alternative universe. And I would hope that they would capitalize on the tease at the end of Puss in Boots? I wonder if they're going to stick with the same art style they had for all the previous movies. Or stick with what modern DreamWorks has been doing and changing up the style a bit for every subsequent movie.

Errika Mason This is interesting news. I guess I am just happy that Fiona's character is back. For a while, I thought that Cameron Diaz wasn't coming back. All I can say is that we will see. The end of the last Puss in Boots film shows Puss going back to see Shrek and Fiona, so Antonio has to be in the cast for more than a simple cameo. Time will tell, I guess. I am sure there will be announcements in the near future. Thank you for posting this!

Errika Mason So I am hopeful now. Of course, Cameron has that movie on Netflix with Jamie Foxx, so I guess she is definitely working again. Voice over should be alright too.
