Topic: Screenplay

So I'm hearing that the TTRPG card game, Magic: The Gathering is getting some screen adaptations. It's starting with a movie, then a show. It sounds like they're planning a whole MTG cinematic universe. Thoughts?

Brandon Reed The lore for MTG is so complex that they could easily milk it forever.

Road Master I like THAT idea. But my issue is the DCEU and the attempted Dark Universe. The Mummy with Tom Cruise. They went into both of those, planning the whole extended universe, instead of focusing on the movie they were making.

Road Master Hopefully. I know very little about MTG. But I am absolutely stoked about a new fantasy franchise coming to the screen. So yes. Definitely hoping they keep those in mind.
