Jessica H That makes me worried about whether they'd stick to the book version, or the movie version that spits in the face of the book on purpose because the director hated the message of the book.

Road Master I was wondering that myself. I don't much about it. But I remember hearing their were major, important differences.

Jessica H I've neither read nor watched the movie, but I have watched video essays about the adaptation lol. Basically the book is kind of pro-fascist, so the director wanted to make the evil empire all idiots so totalitarian dictatorships wouldn't look cool

Road Master I haven't read the book. But I've watched the movie a number of times. I can't say I'm on board with a pro-fascism message. So... I don't know.
