"Watched this in theaters and it’s SO GOOD!! I had high hopes because of how much I enjoyed the animation, and this was just amazing. I went with my best friend, and we got toothless plushies from Build A Bear! Such good memories were made and I truly felt the emotion the same way I did with the animation. Truly amazing and I’m so happy with the casting of Mason Thames and how they got the original voice of Stoic to play Hiccup’s dad in the live action. Freaking awesome! "
"A two star review said this live action remake does nothing better than the animated film. They may be right but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie. It also is not trying to do anything better than the original.
The movie perfectly record everything that made the animated film good. The same lines, same score and the same shots through most of the film.
The movie is unnecessary but not bad since the original isn’t bad. All the same good emotions the animated film gave me. This live action film gave me.
Definitely is a visually stunning delight."
"Loved it!! Would totally watch again. The dragons and environment was great. The action kept me hooked in the whole time"

"I was afraid it was going to suck because of how much I loved the animated version but I was pleasantly surprised. They made some changes from the original which I believe was good decision making. Although this Hiccup isn’t quite as dorky as the OG, he’s still an amazingly charming Hiccup. "
