"Somewhat gory and quite disorienting but it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way!! Not for the faint of heart though😅"

"I have a love/hate relationship with Oculus. Love the concept, love the idea of history repeating itself, love the idea that it's all just a big delusion or do we even know if he's crazy or if he's not kind of thing. But I felt like the movie itself lacks. I'm glad to read other comments on here and see that I was not alone and making fun of it for the first half. It's a slow build. And I can't even say it's a slow build with a decent payoff. It's left as a wack movie that I like, but also hate."

"Creeped the hell out of me. As a horror movie it’s supposed to do that, but there were other things I just couldn’t take. If you’re a dog lover this movie isn’t for you. "

"Intense, horrifying, and absolutely brilliant with a sharp Lovecraftian edge! Smart characters, great worldbuilding, and superb direction on all fronts. You can’t miss this one. "

"This movie takes a little bit to get going but once it builds some momentum I think it’s a good film. Solid twist and turns. You never really know if what you’re seeing is real or not and it kept me guessing. Interesting concept overall. If you’re a horror/ psychological thriller fan, it’s worth a watch. "

"starting my 30 days 👻 w/ this gem, i want to delve more into the metaphysical aspects of what used to be called a scrying device=mirror, pond reflection, bowl of water etc. Anything refractive, Mirrors w/ Keith Sutherland taught us that, mirrors were 1st used as crystal balls for fortune telling. In ancient times mirrors were made of sacred stones(think oil from the dinosaur but fossilized ancestors!) that held supernatural properties. Some of our ancestors did have supernatural abilities. No different than marvel comics…anyway, just tryna make the senseless make sense . I hope this gives a bit of levity to what is a pretty convoluted storeline. I wont spoil the ending tho,lol 4/5"
