"When I was super young, this movie scared the crap out of me. It was a very different kind of movie for the time and it WAS revolutionary. That being said, it hasn't aged the best. It may be just that they have made around 300 sequels though. "

"I remember when I first watch this movie and I had such a good spooky time with it! have a soft spot for found footage movies and I always get a kick out of them even when they aren’t the best I can still have some fun. This one is good not perfect of course but good..it’s a little slow…and the script and characters can be kinda obnoxious but it kinda comes with the territory. But the found footage spooky parts really work for me and what makes it actually worth a watch. But I’d say if slow builds don’t work for you maybe skip it. "
