Pitch Perfect 3

"To be honest the first two are better than this one. While I enjoyed it and had some laughs I still feel like it was lacking but overall entertaining and a fun movie."

"Easily the best of the entire series. I wasn't sure how I felt about everyone having a horrible life after graduation yet it works. All of them still chasing their dreams despite the struggle is inspiring. The only true problem was they got rid of the original heart of the story. Jessie & Beca. Yet honestly I kind of liked it. Mostly just for the one joke at the credits of Beca turning down the talent scout. It was hilarious. The unknown 2 Bellas also having their one line addressing it is the highlight of the movie! Now the true reason I love this one is because it has action. Like actual action. We don't need to talk about that awful ending as the first scene, but whatever. I also love the third installment because every song is great. They truly brought in the talent and you can hear the characters voices have grown with signing over the years. Their techniques as a group just sharpened. Ignoring that, I adore Chicago & Chloe together. They're both great. I only wish he had more of a presence in their boat scene considering he & the other guy are supposed to be their protection. But whatever. Led to a weird fat Amy karate montage. It kind of worked and was fun. It's well thought out but toxic is what redeems it. Also, the director was smart for not including the villains awkward dance cut-outs. I saw them in the deleted scenes, more situational funny than just funny. That would've been more of a pitch Perfect 1 vibe of cringe. Not the coolness and mellow tones the 3rd brings to the plot. (I don't say mellow as if it dilutes the action. I mean mellow like you don't have to suffer through cringe storms to enjoy the movie). Most lines, especially any with Ashley and Jessica are absolute gold. Truly they rocked those characters. Esther's relationship was good, & she did speak regularly at the end just like the first movie. The songs are great & I'd argue it's the best riff-off of the entire series. How a heart unbreaks is amazing. That I had to download."
