"Creepy, confusing and chilling. Jennifer Lawrence was an odd choice in my opinion. "

"I didn't know what I was getting into with this film. I thought it was going to be a creepy horror movie. It seemed to start that way. Then things that happened made me think that Jennifer Lawrence's character was crazy or stuck in a dream. By the end, it had turned into too much of an art house film for my tastes. Very disappointed. 2/10"

"I love Aronovsky, but I did not love this. The cast was wonderful, the film was beautiful, but the concept and plot were as thin and trite as the religion it mimicked. I was disappointed tbh"

"Watch It Look Up The Plot Explained Watch It Again It Will Make Sense And In Some Aspects It Is A Beuatiful Film"

"This movie has a way of staying with you long afterward for some reason.... Addendum: I watched "Mother!" a while back, and then now recently watched "Midsommar." Imo, this gives off a similar vibe as the movie, "Midsommar," although these two movies are completely different. If one likes one of these movies, they might like the other I'm thinking."

"Definitely a movie to pay attention to… which I didn’t on the first viewing and thought that it was horrible. After reading up on some reviews and explanations, I think it’s a beautiful story with a very unique and chaotic execution. I wouldn’t watch again, but can appreciate the artistic direction."

"The ending is cinematically beautiful, but horrible at the same time. Jennifer Lawrence's performance in this was exquisite. "

"This movie is utterly disgusting! Darren Aronofsky went too far in this one, not just to my personal taste, but on a moral level. I hope he's ashamed of himself. As for the actors who got themselves tied to it, I certainly hope they didn't know everything in the screenplay before they ended up getting contracted to it."

"I hate when I don't understand 😒someone help me please.. Does he use young girls to make these rocks? Why did he have all these people coming over? Why they burn the house down?"

"I feel like this is some kind of joke or the director is trying to say something, but who knows what. This should be listed as a comedy, I mean Kristen Wiig is in it. I can’t take anything about this movie seriously, really bad."
