"This movie is so lush and romantic. The animation and music is gorgeous. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Howl the first moment he was on screen. He and Sophie’s love was so pure and I adored their relationship. I also loved Calcifer and Markl and how they were all this adorable little family! It was just too precious. The cast was also an amazing surprise! You’re telling me Christian Bale, Josh Hutcherson AND Billy Crystal were all in it?! As if I needed more reasons to love this film. The only thing I wasn’t clear on was when exactly Sophie’s curse was broken. Like throughout the movie she gradually went back and forth between being young and old, but like what exactly lifted the curse? Howl’s love? Howl calling her beautiful? I’m still not sure. If anyone knows, please tell me! I guess I’ll have to read the book now that I’ve seen this beautiful film!"

"This movie this so breathtaking so much so that it completely envelops you. I just want to live in Howls walking house so bad!! The story is not the main feature for me, not that it’s bad but maybe not thought to it full potential..I heard the book is better in that way..but is so pretty you don’t really notice. Just pure art!"
