"This was great. Super cast in a land of fantasy and fairytale creatures with a funny action based story and that dare you not to cry scene. Really wild/weird animation style that’s trippy and fun to look ok at. Only gripe is generic, canned soundtrack. "

"I can't even with this one, it's just SO GOOD. I have always been a fan of this genre, so I've seen quite a lot of it, and now I'm pretty hard to impress lol. After the death of their father, two elven brothers take off on a quest, in an attempt to see their dad one last time. As far as a family film, for me, it really has it all. It's hilarious, there's definitely crying, plenty of questy adventure, and what (to me) felt like a d&d flavored fantasy. I love all of those things. Onward is so very well-done, I was honestly a bit surprised at how much it got to me. If there is anyone out there who can't see the merit, I truly cannot trust your opinions 👍"
