"REWATCH: This is a classic. My mom loves it, but I have a very unpopular opinion on this film… I honestly can’t stand it. The songs are great! They’re the best part of the movie! The acting’s also pretty great! It’s the rest that I have a problem with. Everyone acts like this movie is so romantic, when in reality Sandy completely changed for Danny and Danny made a half effort attempt to change for Sandy. As soon as he sees her in her new get up, he throws the letterman away goes back to Danny 1.0. And I’m supposed to root for him?! Plus, everyone in this movie is so OBVIOUSLY not even close to being a teenager. It’s such bad age casting that it’s stunning. I honestly just find the whole film annoying."
