"Better than celluloid closet the documentary (please read the book tho) but still falls into the same Hollywood-centric traps celluloid closet fell into, and accepting bare scraps for representation. Didn’t talk about international films with trans rep, didn’t talk about cartoons, documentaries, left out a lot. Unfortunately hindsight is 20/20, and I think this film will age poorly. I would love to see another documentary that has a bit more scope."
