"THAT’S MY PERCY JACKSON! But for real, Walker Scobell is awesome in this and he and Ryan Reynolds nail the younger/older Adam dynamic. This entire movie was funny, but what really surprised me was how exceedingly touching it was. I loved how we could see the toll grief takes on both Adams and his mom. The best scenes were definitely the bar scene with Jennifer Garner, the dramatic goodbye scene with Zoe Saldana and, of course, the heart wrenching catch scene with Mark Ruffalo. The movie was entertaining, funny and really sweet! Two thumbs up!"

"This was a first movie with either Ryan Reynolds and Zoe Saladana's that I couldn't get through...I might be broken...."

"A cast of big names playing out a mediocre but entertaining story. Lives up to expectations. 12-year old Adam is the best part."

"So this is the type of movie that is great to watch one time. Like it was good, but I’ll probably never watch it again. There really wasn’t much to it. It seems like someone wrote the story board in 15 minutes and they just decided to roll with it. The boy does play a young Ryan very well. "

"I enjoyed this very much. Had many good laughs and I teared up a bit in the end, definitely a movie worth seeing! Huge fan of Ryan’s work honestly everything is a 10/10! "
