"Oh yea watched this in the day and then today. Lots of future stars appear in story of an evening when everything changed. Car cruise culture is way too familiar but not a thing now. Teen lives at the cusp of adulthood and still getting into shenanigans."

"Love this movie! It’s such a good classic, and I go back and watch it from time to time. The first time I watched it I didn’t think I’d enjoy it, but by the end the movie had me. It’s a really good coming of age movie and i definitely recommend it!"

"It feels like an indie movie... Before there were indie movies. I love how George Lucas was obviously trying to capture the vibes of his childhood, and I think the aesthetic is very accurately put here. It doesn't feel overly nostalgic, as when it was made, 1962 was just barely a decade behind them. However, the late night Americana vibe is represented here so accurately, it almost feels like a documentary of the kind of nights these kids would get into. It feels like a series of vignettes, and they all tie together in the end. Obviously not the most influential films Lucas ever made, but it's a good watch. 7.5/10"
