"Rewatch. Always thought this was one of the funnest movies ever made and can stand by that! It’s a kids adventure dream we all wish we could’ve taken on a dreary rainy day. Pirate maps, treasure, underground tunnels, water slides, skeletons. and too many Rube Goldbergs and booty traps (booby! yeah that’s exactly what I said! 🤣) to count. Also great fun to see so many well known actors as young kids, especially Sean Astin and Ke Huy Quan. It would hurt me to see a remake done of this. So much would have to be changed and the charm couldn’t help but be muted. I laugh cried real tears throughout. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 nostalgic stars "
