Eddie Murphy’s portrayal of Axel Foley becomes more abrasive, losing some of the character’s initial likability. Despite these shortcomings, the film still offers moments of entertainment, particularly through the chemistry between Murphy and his co-stars, Judge Reinhold and John Ashton."
