"This is definitely an art house thriller. Everything about this film is especially tailored to make the viewer feel uncomfortable: a forced marriage, darkly lit sets, loud ambient sounds, stilted dialogue, and a crying "baby." I am unsure what the Director was trying to portray with this film, but he sure tried hard to do it. The film simply cannot be described, and is therefore very memorable.π₯Ί"

"Itβs weird but it all goes back to the fear of parenting and infanticide. "

"Eraserhead for me is an amazing and nightmare fueled look at the fears of being a father and unwanted pregnancy. This movie is full anxiety and discomfort that drives home the loss freedom some might feel with having a child to look after and the madness that can come with it. Itβs strange, odd and dark."

"There was somehow nothing going on in this movie, but also, so much is going on. Overall, I enjoyed watching it. "

"I heard in an interview with Dennis Hopper that David Lynch never did drugs, I found that hard to believe until I saw this movie, now I find it IMPOSSIBLE "
