"This movie is a real SOB. And it’s doing it on purpose. One of my discomforts is overt cruelty. Well that’s half this movie’s schtick. Alternated with blatant, overdone heartstring grabs. But to me it’s the funniest mainstream comedy in years. Fell in love with Geraldine in 7 Days. Funniest Ferrell in 20 years. And I’m all in if 48 year old Reece wants to show us how hot she still is. Wow. All three play lovable, horrible people. The supporting cast performance is phenomenal. Saw a joke online there’s no way Ferrell could pull Reece. They make fun of that, along with every other taboo, stereotype and line crosser. Gotta let comedy comedy. "
