Kaylee VieI really enjoyed this book! The plot was chock full and super engaging but also a bit all over the place and occasionally hard to follow. For that reason, I would probably give it 3.5/5. I could have done without the added letters from their mom. They felt confusing and unnecessary. Overall though, the characters were beautiful and meaningful and grew so much over the course of the book. I really enjoyed the read and would definitely recommend it.
Kaylee VieI really enjoyed this book! Catherine Ryan Hyde has such a beautiful way of developing characters. I felt like I knew each character so deeply. I couldn’t put it down. The ending wasn’t what I expected and it really made me think. I would definitely recommend!
Kaylee ViePicked this book up from a little free library as a beach read. Turns out it is part of a series. It was pretty easy to pick up and definitely drew me in. The style, both the plot and the writing, were veryyyy young adult, but the characters are charming and it was a quick and cute read!
Kaylee VieI loved this book! Couldn’t put it down. It told a story that, unfortunately, is a reality for so many. But, it was told through the perspectives of triplet sisters, each incredibly unique and relatable. They were so lovable in their own ways and Frankel’s choice for which character to narrate each part made for a beautiful and touching story. One of my favorite reads in a while!
Kaylee VieWhat a lovely read. A story of self-discovery and chosen family. The characters had so much depth. It left me wanting a little more resolution but overall, I really enjoyed and would definitely recommend to others!
Kaylee VieThis book left me confused. It was a quick and engaging read, but I find myself left with more questions than answers. While a lot technically happened in the book, the plot lacked depth. I found myself distracted by the “fictional” and dystopian description of “the fever.” Although the book was written in 2018, the parallels to Covid were striking and distracting. Overall, I enjoyed while reading but wouldn’t necessarily recommend to a friend.
