@Niffty
NifftyIt was an enjoyable read. There is a few times that a few of the characters went out of character. We get to see the conflict after the war and Zuko’s inner conflict.

I really don’t like Aang and Katara as a couple. I felt like in the show Aang kinda forced himself on Katara a lot. Also he felt like a younger brother. So it felt really gross every time they called eachother “sweetie”. (Which they do a lot)
NifftyThis novella is only 65 pages. It also has pictures. The story was good but it didn’t blow me away. The little girl was cute but that’s all i can say. The book was slow. The cover makes it look festive but the short story bearly has anything to do with Christmas. You can switch it with any holiday and it still would make sence.
Niffty-this book focuses on people that have any relationship with a narcissism. Whether it is romantic, parent or a friend
-i like how the book from the start talks about how complex any kind of relationship with a narcissist can be and why abuse people stay
-it also explains different kind narcissism and the misconceptions
NifftyThis book was really honest and didn’t pull any punches. It is a great book. I was annoyed reading it but that because the adults in her life were so emotionally manipulative. The writing was really good. She is a great writer.

I do admire her for all she went through and how she was able to get out of it. I love how she refused to take the hush money and she spoke against nick.

The audiobook was narrative by herself. It was great how she was able to tell her own story in both ways the way she wanted it to get out. At moments you can tell she was getting emotional
NifftySo far this is my least favorite in the Gone series. There are too many perspectives. There are at least 5 different POV. There are still too many characters. I think Justin could have at least been dropped then get the information from different characters.

I still really like the other characters. The new characters on the island were enjoyable. I also liked seeing how events from the previous book affected the characters

Astrid is a bit annoying in the book though.
NifftyI kinda wish the author made the story more complex. It goes exactly how you would expect the story to go. There is so much opportunity to make the story and characters more complex. Made Adrien break the rules thinking that it was the right thing to do but someone ends up dying. Made Nova slightly cross the villain line. Create an argument for the other side why the world needs hero’s. Show the hero side being corrupt without having “good” and “bad” characters. Create more situations where Nova would be torn between hero and villain without making it about a guy. Maybe give Nova more of a relationship with her team members. Any one of those could make the story better. It is too back and white. The characters that are bad are obviously bad.

The characters are not that interesting. They don’t do anything that makes them stand out. They are just fine. I just didn’t like the Detonator because of how stupid she was. Max was the only character i am attached to
