The Lazy ReaderAlthough I did like this devastating story overall, it took a bit to get into. My main complaint is the mc's continually moronic decisions. The needed attention to MMIW and the strong relationships were well done. Overall I rated this 3.5 stars

The Lazy ReaderSPOILERS: There were definitely parts of this story I liked, the originality of knowing who the killer is straight away; however there were definitely parts I didn't like. The MC is supposed to be a crime author yet isn't familiar with DNA?? Also, the detective's nickname for the mc "my sweets" just ick. Also a few other parts that were absolutely so unbelievable I found myself laughing. And, **** Matt. Like seriously, **** you. you are a horrible *****. Overall, enjoyable enough to keep me entertained. 3.75 stars

The Lazy ReaderMy 4th and least favorite of Ahlborn's books. It was meh and felt overhyped. Longer than necessary and it was a short book. Just devastating without the horror. It felt like a great premise but just an okay execution. 3 stars
