Abbey FrommerSo I thought this was gonna be a remake of the 1940s "The Wolf Man." Boy, was I wrong, and boy, am I happy about it. Love the tension right from the get go, love the slow but steady transformation, love seeing practical effects again. Please, please, please 🙏 bring back practical effects like this. It's so much better than CGI. (In my opinion.) The plot is simply and the writing is as well but that means more monster goodness.

Abbey FrommerGood, not great. It was much better than I honestly was expecting, but much like the first, dont expect historical accuracy. I'm so glad they brought back at least a few of the previous actors and glad they didn't find some weird way to revive Maximus. The Gladiator is one of my all-time favorite movies, and although I wouldn't mind rewatching this film, I won't be putting it on my favorites list.

Abbey FrommerThe acting is phenomenal, and the sets are gorgeous. The story has changed a bit from the original, but it is far creepier and more stressful than the other versions. If you want a scary Nosferatu, I do recommend this version, but be aware that it is still an old-school gothic story. So it is a bit slow and over dramatic at times. One last note, why give the count a mustache?

Abbey FrommerIt was a fantastic remake of the 1922 original. It's nearly shot for shot as it can be to the silent film, but with the updates of the modern century, it just feels better. While I greatly appreciate them duplicating the German castle the original was filmed in, you can tell those scenes in particular are in front of a green scene. Still, if you've never seen Nosferatu i highly recommend this one.

Abbey Frommer4 stars - adorable, funny, decent action - would easily watch again. What can I say? It's another sonic movie? It's just as funny because Jim Carrey is being Jim Carrey. And you can tell the writers had fun. However, it does have 3rd movie syndrome, where it doesn't quite live up to the previous movies. If you have kids, are a video game fan, or just love Jim Carrey, it's an absolute must watch.

Abbey Frommer4 stars - great movie, and i highly recommend everyone see it. Sets are beautiful, costumes are amazing, and everyone is acting and singing their hearts out. So why minus a star? A) I don't like some of the plot changes they made. B) Some of the songs are too broken up by scenes (the last song in particular). C) it really didn't need to be 2 movies. But other than my minor grievances, it's amazing.

Abbey FrommerThree stars - good for a one time watch. The action isn't bad but the movie is a little slow and a little predictable. The monsters are cool looking but in the beginning what i thought was a plot hole wound up being a plot twist. Albeit once you see the hole you can pretty much guess the twist.

Abbey FrommerFirst 2 seasons are adorable and I love them. Third season the plot takes a hard pivot that left such a bad taste in my mouth I wound up dropping the whole anime.
