Alaina MingleThis is my first Olivie Blake book. It wasn’t necessarily a page turner but the story was a great one. I loved learning about each individual character and their story, and I loved watching it come together in the end. The world she created with all of the creatures was fun. I love when fantasy books make sense. Great read!

Alaina MingleI have to say this book is so beautifully written. I enjoyed how the story developed and really enjoyed Charles Halloway’s character and how he developed throughout the book as well. Watching him awaken his relationship with his son was beautiful. The only reason I gave the book 3 stars is because I struggled through the beginning of the book.

Alaina MingleI am very fond of this series but I do agree with some other reviews that this is a weaker book in the series. I just felt that we were not able to get answers like we did in other books and it was slightly anticlimactic with all of the build up that we had. I have already preordered the next one in the series. Overall very interesting and original series.

Alaina MingleReally enjoyed getting to know Ropa a bit more in the 2nd book of the series. There were some super interesting concepts in the book that would have been so cool to elaborate on. Ready to see what the 3rd book brings 👀

Alaina MingleThis book was a little of a tough start. I was not a huge fan of the jargon used in the book but it grew on me as I got to know Ropa a little better. In the end it was a super interesting read/page turner and I would love to see where it goes in the next few books in the series. I already ordered them all. Overall a cool read.

Alaina MingleA beautiful little book that created such a magical world to escape to. I started reading it before a trip to a national park and it was fun to imagine the world I was reading come to life in front of me. Super cozy. Would recommend.
