Alex BTook me a little to get into it, but once I did a quick easy read. Quite a few twist I did not expect, and I like how more and more popped up almost to the very end. Worth a read! Somewhat Spoiler- only twist that I felt was predictable was Carter- but not for the reasons that ended up being.

Alex BA very heavy story. Starts out kind of confusing, but once you understand the dynamic of mother/ daughter it’s an easy read. I like the back and forth style of the writing. So much sadness throughout the story. And then it ends abruptly without answers to what happened. I wish there was more to answer the question the ending gives but I guess it is a safe assumption. Can’t help but feel terribly for Violet, and no happy ending.

Alex B3.75 stars! It was a very slow story until around 200 pages and then it got really interesting/ fast moving. I liked the ending/ the outcome of the story and the ending of the book. Would have rated it higher if it wasn’t so slow.

Alex B3.75- Started a little slow, but then picked up and I couldn’t put it down. I liked how it went backwards in time. The way the girls went missing was weird/ not as exciting or thrilling, but on the flip side also different from most books.
