Amanda CSlow pace, called that ending immediately, just okay.

Amanda CJust okay. I got through it quick enough but fell a little flat as far as the twists and reveals are concerned. Not my fave.

Amanda CIf the whole book was like the last 150 pages it would’ve been out of this world. I get slow burns but this is so very very slow for like 400 pages, that being said when it did get exciting it was super exciting!

Amanda CI read in one sitting! Kindof predictable ish and I also thought a lot of it was overly dramatic but I sped through it and enjoyed it!

Amanda CThis was a very good read. I don’t feel like there was very many “twists” yet still the tension was built beautifully. I liked the POVs!

Amanda CKept my interest but it is not his best work. If you’re chasing the Silent Patient adrenaline, this isn’t it. That being said I liked the twists and turns and the narrator!

Amanda C3.5 / 5 Heavy world building, very intriguing though. It definitely was a bit long winded in parts which is why it didn’t score better. I will be reading the next one definitely!

Amanda CVery good read, hooked you in, layered story! Slightly too slow in the beginning or it would’ve gotten 5 stars!

Amanda C3.5 that I’m rounding up to 4 here. Beginning is an investment, so painfully slow. Picks up last third (for me) then huge twists at the end which really saved it! Will read the next one to see what happens.
