amelialeonaThese characters have a hook in me. I can’t wait to read about Joey and Aoife next!
amelialeonaThis was the easiest five stars I’ve given in awhile. It’s one of those that I’m mad I didn’t read sooner. I know this is classified as young adult, but it didn’t feel that way at all reading it. I’m 34 and absolutely devoured this. It’s 600+ pages, where usually I would get bored, but I kept on needing more. It almost has a Mariana Zapata slow burn feel to it. It definitely leaves at a cliffhanger though, so now I’ll have to jump into the second 600+ page book in the series. I can’t wait, I need more Johnny and Shannon.
amelialeonaBJ and Magnolia, get your **** together!!!!!!

Talk about Gossip Girl nostalgia. These two are so dysfunctional and toxic for each other, but at the same time, meant to be together. They are an absolute train wreck that I can’t look away from.

“How’s the weather, Parks?”
“******.”

“Everything wonderful, everything magical, everything painful, everything beautiful and spectacular and wretched and defining that has happened to me happened with him. And I hate him for that.”

“I’ll die in her arms or at her doorstep trying to get back into them”

“Parks and me? It’s in the ******* stars”
amelialeonaSo many emotions. I laughed, cried and gasped out loud so many times. That rarely ever happens.

Omg, these people have such a hook in me.

I freaking love Aoife. She’s beautiful and strong willed with a sharp tongue. Her love for Joey is beyond…and Joey, my gosh, that boy. My heart hurts for him and the responsibilities he shouldn’t have to have. His home life and addiction battles pull you in. Aoife is just a ray of sunshine when he is surrounded in so much darkness.

“You’re all I have to wake up for in the morning”
