Andrew GreenePlease read this book. There is so much great history and wonderful characters converging at this one point, and it's written pretty damn well too. I'd name a few people, things, events, but I don't want to ruin it for you. Just read it.
Andrew GreeneOne the best from Chandler, and the most thoroughly complete story. I loved it. <br/>
Matt NelsonGreat book! Did you have a favorite part?
Andrew GreeneI loved this book. It felt great to be a few chapters in, suddenly moved to read all the blurbs and bits on the dust jacket, and see a George Saunders quote. This book follows Saunders' great ability to use our weird internal dialogues as this great peek into humanity. Miranda July describes the games and processes we use to make choices, justify behaviours, and just be weird so well. The main character's fantasies and fears are particularly touching. And I LOVED her descriptions of character that comes to live with her. Loved it.
