It’s very informative on how certain things have happened with conspiracy theories, but my goodness it was so irritating on what unqualified people will do and say if they don’t WANT to believe you. Yes, we have freedom of speech, but your speech and actions can have enormous impacts so you must choose wisely on what to say and what/who to believe

Ashley KateSJMs writing is so beautifully done. I’m not typically a fantasy reader, but I was very enticed the whole time. This book lives up to the hype that my friends were all raving about! I instantly ordered the whole series.

Ashley KateAs a young woman in science, this has a very important message in it that was written in such a beautiful story. Women have faced so many hardships throughout time, and we often still struggle in the STEM industry. Having faced sexism in my undergraduate endeavor, I thought my only career option was to be a chemistry teacher but I’m glad that I pushed past my beliefs on what I could be. I myself have a bachelors in chemistry and was a bit reluctant to read this at first, until I noticed a small bit of relativity. Not to ruin the story for anyone, but I loved the quote towards the end of “whenever you start doubting yourself, whenever you feel afraid, just remember. Courage is the root of change — and change is what we’re chemically designed to do. So when you wake up tomorrow, make that pledge. No more holding yourself back. No more subscribing to others’ opinions of what you can and cannot achieve.” I will highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Beautifully written. Thank you Bonnie Garmus.
