Bee7/10- I liked it, but it wasn’t the best thing I’ve ever read. More suited for a younger audience (16-18 year olds rather than 20 year olds), but still really gripping and eye opening for the kinds of things happening in boarding schools
Bee9/10- absolutely broke my heart. As a woman you experienced a violent relationship before, seeing it again from an outside perspective and still being pulled in just proves the fact that people can be incredibly manipulative. Surprisingly didn’t make me cry, which was upsetting lol
BeeI would give it a 7/10. It wasn’t the best thing I ever read, and was a little dry, but their story itself was heartwarming. I would have liked to see a jump to Nora and Sophia’s future
Bee8/10. Honestly really enjoyed it, I liked being a little detective. Was slow at some points, and I thought from the start that none of them did it and tried to collect evidence throughout it to prove that one of them did. Will definitely read again to see if I missed anything, and will read McManus’ other books!
Bee9/10!! SO good. it was also a little slow at the beginning, but it really leaves you guessing. it’s super detailed (not good if you don’t like gore or anything like that since it follows a bunch of murders in a small town), but i got super into it!! i’m definitely going to read it again, even if it doesn’t have the same effect as the first read through!!
