Bianca MihocOk ok so this book is such a unique idea, a fun twist of magic and adventure in just a couple short days. Now I was loving this book right untill I realized I was getting disconnected from the characters. Because even though everything is fictional and I'm reading about some authors brain child I couldn't bond after day 4. There are so many plot twists and of course they catch you off guard but woah the whole lists of plot twists were used to the point of me questioning everything in a "i hate this book" way oh and girl fell in love like a hopeless fool....nobodys perfect.
Bianca MihocLoved the fun atmosphere of circus life. Not so sure about the being old lifestyle in parts of the story, seemed almost pathetic to read about how a great life can turn into mush...untill the end. Oh also some things were described, lets just say not up to my liking but oh well, some freaks are into it.
Bianca MihocI've been reading a lot of John Green and his writing style is amazing, makes you think in ways you didn't know you could. In this story the marvels of an anxious feeling described by ink and paper became a reality I could feel, and though it made me uncomfortable, I think that's what a good writer intends to do to the reader.
Bianca MihocDelia Owens is a beautiful writer. Her love for Mother nature's beauty in her scientific works is expressed in this book in ways you wouldn't expect for the secrets of marshes and swamps. Kya was portrayed wonderfully and I loved the time the reader gets to become, in a way, the only person that never left her.
Bianca MihocFelt way to similar to the first book in the series but with a different traumatic event for the brother
Bianca MihocI mean ya girl is a sucker for the buisness boys with too many secrets, oh and the book girlie and childhood romance is everything.
Bianca MihocOh my goodness loved this book right up untill auround pg. 400 and now I'm debating this whole series I guess all I can say is read to fund out
