Bonnie_CSo many things I loved about this book: a playlist (didn’t know I needed this, but genius!), protective male figures (Nathan and roommates), 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Anastasia generally and that car scene🥵). I felt like they could have added a bit more drama, Nathan was a bit too all in from the beginning. Definitely a must read!
Bonnie_CThe best of the three Knockemout series books!! Sloan and Lucian are by far the sexiest of the couples. Something about smoldering, moody man who refuses to admit he’s clearly obsessed with the women… I definitely got Mr.Grey vibes minus the red room. A must read.
Bonnie_CIt’s amazing how much depth these characters had for such a short read. Finished in 48 hours, it was impossible to put down. Despite the predictability of the plot I enjoyed the strong presence of women in STEM and ultimately putting the patriarchy in their place.
Bonnie_CLiked the fast paced nature. There was the perfect combination of cheesiness. Both Nora and Leo’s characters have very relatable personalities despite the wild premise.
Bonnie_CThis book had so much potential! So many things went unexplained. The tarot card reader and Shrimp locking Charlie in a room for days to “sober up”. Ummm what? They could have developed the other plot lines more than Silas/Charlie. Was hoping for a twist that never came. Like maybe Charlie’s dad was innocent? Maybe they had a spell placed on them? Nothing.
Bonnie_CAs someone who has relatives with special needs, this one really touched my heart. An unlikely hero that views the world differently, which makes it oh so magical.
