Brian GeierA fun, relatively low-stakes fantasy anime where the heart is the party that the main character grows with. As previously stated: very chill and only some minor peril.
Brian GeierThis was such a unique read. The classic Cinderella fairy tale, but with a science fiction twist. The characters are interesting, and all have an interesting character arc, and the world building is fantastic and gives a bleak look at humanity ravaged by disease and an unsteady relationship with another race. It could be a bit slow at times, but this story is gearing up the rest of the series.
Brian GeierA cute girl who usually has people falling all over themselves for her ends up finding her love. Pretty standard romance story, but my wife and I are both suckers for that kind of stuff, so we enjoyed it 😊
Brian GeierA funny, low-stakes anime of an unwilling prisoner who loves sleep and makes trouble for all her captors. Never any heavy moments or graphic violence so a fun watch for me and the wife.
Brian GeierA fun school-life anime featuring a wide cast of characters from other franchises. It's nice to get a break from the drama that some series such as Tanya the Evil and Re:zero are known for and seeing those characters in a lighter setting. Extra rewarding jokes and moments if you are familiar with the series as well.
Brian GeierA beautifully animated show with plenty of great humor, supernatural elements, and even a bit of romance thrown in. I did appreciate that the heavier moments were usually interrupted with a bit of humor to lighten the mood as that is a technique that I tend to use in my everyday life and it prevents everything from staying too heavy for too long.
Brian GeierA really cute anime with a rough-around-the-edge protagonist who only cares about studying until he meets the Amagami sisters. Eventually, he softens and forms a wonderful relationship with each of them.
Brian GeierA decent high-fantasy anime with a star-crossed lovers subplot. Plenty of tension as well as action here, but nothing truly stands out to me. Still worth a watch though.
