Carolina GonzalezSo so so so good! I laughed. I (almost) cried. I was left wanting more, but more than anything, wanting to be friends with Chelsea. She is an icon, a seemingly incredible role model, & a human with a huge, giving heart. I want to read her other books but can they honestly compare to this one?? Who knows…
Carolina GonzalezDecent read but a lot of unnecessary details during moments that didn’t matter much, while jumping right into important moments without enough build up. Felt very anti-climatic. Plot twist ending that was somewhat unsurprising and kinda boring at the same time. No cliff hangers that kept me wanting to read more… I don’t know. I just think it was blah.
Carolina GonzalezGreat stories told from an interesting perspective. My only annoyance was some of the writing… specifically the way in which he alternates between using first and last names within the same sentence. There’s new characters being introduced constantly, so this felt like extra work to keep in check. But besides that, it was fascinating. I hope the story of the severed ***** becomes a movie or limited series next!
Carolina GonzalezLoved this book. Informative. Entertaining. Insightful. Makes you contemplate nature vs nurture and the “dangerousness” of certain criminals that are getting paroled due to good behavior. I wish there were more pages to dive into. Highly recommend.
Carolina GonzalezEasy to follow. Great points. Nothing you may not already know, but put together so well that you finish feeling enlightened. Many pages have been dog-eared and highlighted. Highly recommend if you’re looking for inspiration to make your next big move(s).
Carolina GonzalezGreat, easy read! It felt a little juvenile for my taste, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars but it’s a lovely book.
