Christopher AllenAll I can say about this book is, Wow! The story the author tells of his life is so emotional and interesting. Anyone who is either struggling with their own identity, or knows someone who is, should definitely read this. The author is so fully honest and transparent about everything he has lived through, it will resonate with all.
Christopher AllenThis story takes place about a year after the events in the first book. Quinn is now in college and has gone back the Philadelphia where she was originally from, and her friends Cole and Rust are coming to visit her from Kettle Springs. When there is an attack at the school, the three make their way back to Kettle Springs because Quinn's father has also been attacked. After that, things get worse because there is newfound hatred for the three who survived when a large number of people think that the events from a year ago were a hoax. The author gives us deeper insight into these characters and some things get revealed that were left unanswered in the first book. The athir also delivered on some surprise twists you won't see coming. I hope there will be a 3rd book in this series!
Christopher AllenThis story centers around Kevin Ross who ends up saving Leah from a killer known as The Surgeon, and becomes the horo of his small town in Maryland. The problem is that he has some secrets of his own that would put his hero status into question. In all, the story was a pretty good read, and the incidents that happen with his friends and teachers at school are believable. Recommended for any middle or high school students.
Christopher AllenAnother great book and this one concluded the series very well. After the events of the 2nd book, we find out that Butcher Billy has a partner, and it is quite the plot twist when you find out who it is. Also, detective Hughes, and Sheriff Tanner end up working together to finally end the terror that Billy has wrought.
