Cindy LeeThis is an older show, since I'm viewing it in 2025, but it doesn't matter since it's set in the 1940s. It's in French, with English subtitles. This show I think is very historically accurate, and so far, a was series without so the combat, this focuses more on a small village in France and how the inhabitants maintain day to day life during occupied France. How they dealt with the shortages, the trust, having their homes ripped away, their identities ripped away, the espionage, the penalty if caught, I am completely living all the characters. It really get you vested in their welfare. The acting is fantastic.
