EmmLeiThis is a continuation of still beating. Now shows the experience and life of Tabitha. Ohhh this broke my heart into pieces but had it whole again in the end. Gabe is such a book boyfriend that loves unconditionally. Tabitha deserves him. Jennifer Hartmann equally writes as Mia Sheridan and I’m loving their styles of writing a lot 😊
EmmLeiOh my gosh! I’d give this a 6 stars if I could.. a very good rollercoaster, mind boggling and heart wrenching plot. This is the first novel I read from this author and won’t be the last. I’ve never felt trauma transcend from paper to real life the way this story did. Cora and Dean are beautifully imperfect that lives for each other, their trauma was intense and brutal. I can’t express in words the emotional turmoil I went through reading this. One must have a strong heart reading this book. A million hands to Jennifer Hartmann❤️
EmmLeiSame trope as marriage for one. I liked how the plot is straightforward and the honesty between Crew and Scarlett. It felt real with how both of them were fighting then falling in love after. I always like stories of arranged marriage and this one adds to my list.
EmmLeiThis series follows the love stories of billionaires with disabilities which I found unique however, this specific plot got me annoyed with the prolonged lying of the female character. I got a bit ****** when she had multiple chances to tell the guy the truth about her identity but kept on adding her lies on top of another. The story could have been nicer if the lies weren’t stretched out too long that the love story was only highlighted in the last 10% of the book when both the characters were true to each other.
EmmLeiI felt like this is an Elsie Silver plot. Traditional and nothing out of the box. Maybe I can be a millionaire if i gain a hundred every time the word sugar is used. 😅 I didn’t feel the spark much but was okay
EmmLeiThis was a nice read although it was a very typical arranged-marriage-of-convenience plot among the royals that eventually became real. I just felt both characters lack a bit of spark, no major twist but surely ends with a happy ever after
EmmLeiThis is the first regency book I read from this author. In the beginning the story seemed odd and the pacing was a bit fast then it slowed. It was a mix of drama, suspense and comedy. Amber was too kind to be true and Miles was too much of a jerk to begin with, the plot was unique and seemed to fall right into place in the end. I enjoyed the moments with just-pebbles anyway. 😅
Ella AndersonAdding this to my list! Thanks!
