Fefe Luna (she/they)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Such a cute book that really hit home for me!! This book really focuses on the subtle, mundane, small, and sweet gestures that really drive in love (at least for me). If you want a romance that has larger more passionate moments, this isn’t the book for you. My first Abby Jimenez book and def not my last! I’m so excited to read more from her!
Fefe Luna (she/they)⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Such a wholesome, cozy book! If you just want a book without much drama and love representation of LGBTQ, chronic illnesses, autism, BIPOC this is your book! A very, very YA book.
Fefe Luna (she/they)The author did a great job at writing about different romance plot lines second-chance love, out growing your current partner, not being ready for love etc. Story 1: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, this story was super cozy and adorable, I can see why people don’t like the love story of it since she starts off in a relationship and falls in love with someone else. I enjoyed that she was fighting with herself because of the box she put herself in. The exploring of understanding who she is was beautiful!! Also the writing was so thoughtful and poetic I was so entranced! Story 2: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, another amazing story! Having her dig up some difficult life circumstances and having her reflect in how that is affecting her relationships was just … chef’s kiss. It gave the character a lot of depth to me and I loved the coziness of this story. Story 3: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, it was cute but in my opinion more juvenile than the other stories. I felt that there were some loose ends that I wanted to be tied up. I didn’t feel like I had a deeper understanding of this character when comparing it to the others. I do love the lesbian representation, I just wish there was more depth (I also didn’t get much personality from this character in the other stories so I feel like I didn’t get to know her very well). Story 4: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5, this was a cute story and because of the other stories and her inside thoughts it was helpful in having some background info on her. I thought this last story was a little cozy, but not as much as the first 2. I’m glad that it brought some closure to the dad’s family issues. A great story to tie up everything from the inn!
Fefe Luna (she/they)⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 I remember reading this book as a teen and loving it, rereading it …. It’s okay. I felt that Belly is an annoying teen and I didn’t remember the story going back and forth from the present to the past. I felt so bad for Jeremiah and Cam ): but I understand the “first love” mentality. It’s a very easy breezy read. I guess I’m just older now *shrug*. I’m still excited to read the rest of the series though!
Fefe Luna (she/they)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 My first Tia William book and wow I wish I would’ve read this earlier. I loved the love story, I felt like I was in an emotional rollercoaster and though overall it was also very funny. I generally don’t like third person books as much as first person, but the way Tia Williams wrote this book was so beautiful. I will say, the middle was a little bit lackluster for me and that it had maybe 1 too many **** scenes but that’s more personal preference as someone who doesn’t read much ****. Overall I absolutely loved this book, I really enjoyed the love and the story of it. I’m excited to read my next Tia Williams book!
