GabrielaOne of my favorites that I’ve read. Part of this book was read for a political psychology class I took but I read the rest on my own time due to my fascination with the topics. These very thought processes are instrumental in the way we think about each other and everything around us. A must read for everyone to better understand our own cognitive faculties and fallacies.
GabrielaI can see why this movie in particular has caused some tensions online with the concepts within the film but I honestly thought it was done in a very creative, cinematic way as to how the subject matter was dealt with and presented, they could have gone in an explicit direction but rather artistically presented a controversial topic and experience that exists within our society. That being said, if you just take the film on the cinematic side it’s beautifully done, however I felt the story was lackluster.
GabrielaThis book successfully got me back into thrillers! I appreciate the perspective shifts throughout the book and the fast paced story, with just the right amount of suspense to keep me wanting to read more from this author!
GabrielaI enjoyed it though the plot was a bit flat because they do reveal what happens pretty early on. However, I think the movie set up a great back story for a second movie about the main characters’s quest to find Dracula after the occurrences on the Demeter.
