A WGrateful that the romance was boring enough to stay out of the way of what else the story was about. I mean that as a good thing. The romance plot doesn't need to be anything special, but it's there and serves a purpose and that's good enough. Nice little quick read.
A WSilly little essays on gross, disgusting, taboo, and creepy things. I found myself raising my eyebrows a bit in part 6 particularly in the chapter about psychopaths. There is a lot of quackery when it comes to studying psychopaths from what I've gathered and while inaccuracies with her sources wouldn't be Engelhaupt's fault, I think it's worth reading that chapter with a little skepticism.
A WCould just be because I listened to this on audiobook, but I felt like the essays could have been contextualized better.
